Resurrection People-Our Worship
Speaker: Pastor Kelly J. Tam
Scripture: Revelation 1:17–18a
The resurrection of Jesus leads us to worship a presence.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever!
—Revelation 1:17-18a
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
—Matthew 22:37-38
1. Worship with our hearts means we have honest grief and joyful praise.
2. Worship with our body means our whole being praises and declares the King.
3. Worship with our souls means our worship is a spiritual encounter.
