The Black Lives Matter movement gained significant world-wide social and financial support through the backing of the media and certain political figures. This aided in BLM's attempts to discredit and defund the entire law enforcement profession based upon the often misaligned actions of a few officers. 

However, with the recent questionable actions and suspected criminal activity of some its members, should the same standards be applied to BLM?
