On this, our first VIDEO episode of the A Story Not Forgotten podcast, host Liam Rathgeber interviews Gord Gillies. Gord Gillies has been working in his hometown of Calgary for 25 years as an anchor for Global News Calgary's News Hour.  He has worked in a number of newsrooms across the country. Covering the 1988 Olympic Winter Games and the devastating floods in southern Alberta in 2013 are two of the biggest highlights of his career. Gord shares with us a story of how as a young man he stepped outside his comfort zone and it paid off in spades as he got an exclusive interview that helped to further his career.
