Today I had a great conversation with Kara Devaney, PhD Student at Loyal University Chicago. It was really fun to catch up with Kara, since we hadn’t had much time to catch up since she moved to Chicago from CA, and so it was fun for me to find out what she has been up to. We talking about the benefits of community building groups and social circles, computer science, math, knitting, bicycling, relationships, and the factors that go in to choosing a job. We also talked a bit about how we met each other and the interesting research that Kara was working on that lead us to meet.
