-It’s the first of the midlife transits

-It lasts about three years (as do all Pluto transits)

-Pluto’s orbit is elliptical. It slows and quickens in its movement through the zodiac. So the age that it happens from generation to generation can vary slightly. It happens in mid-late thirties.

-Currently those born in 1981-83 are going through it (natal Pluto in Libra)
