"It takes a little rain to miss the sunshine, and a little time away from mankind to miss the company. Like a mountain top under the night sky, all I see is outlines, the present feels like a slideshow in year 9 science class; I can almost hear Mr Randall getting called out for brushing through the slides faster than we could read them, "Come on sir! Nobody can read that fast! Slow it down!". Mr Randall hated feeling like he was being given orders, and this time was no exception. My past feels like a history book being read out to me, everything feels so unfamiliar, like I'm reliving someone else's experiences. My future feels like a maths lesson, calculus actually. I'm the worst at calculus. That's why I ran away, grabbed my guitar and a little money from the multiple jobs I'd been working, and went to live the simple life, for when I latched onto my guitar was the only time I ever felt fully in control.."
