Jesus ministered to outsiders - those not part of the house of Israel - including the daughter of the Syrophoenician woman and the man who was deaf and mute. In doing so, he broke down barriers as the kingdom of God broke into our world through Jesus. We, too, were outsiders, but have been brought into God's family through the cleansing blood of Jesus.
