One of the most powerful shifts you can make in your business is to start relying on your intuition for guidance, rather than turning to other people for "what to do". In order to do that, we have to build our belief in ourselves and in our own intuitive knowing, which is sometimes harder than just taking what someone else tells us.
But from what I have found since starting my business, it never serves us in the long term to try to do things like other people if it doesn't also honor us, our needs and how we want to feel in our life and business.
So what I'm encouraging you to do in today's episode is to look at the places where you're outsourcing your decision-making in your business:
1. Are you looking at what worked for other people and basing your decisions on that?
2. Are you making decisions based on what will be pleasing to most people, or that will create the least amount of judgement, resistance or disappointment?
3. Are you using market research as a way to make some of the most important decisions in your business for you?
4. Are you asking people what they want from you, rather than owning what you intuitively know?
Making your decisions based on how they feel and using self-trust is the best way to make sure you're creating a business that will be sustainable, that you'll be able to be consistent at, and in which you'll be able to show up fully.
