I am an employee and a business owner and know well both sides' needs when hiring staff and/or vendors. That written, the hiring managers are the gatekeepers (I know, I've been one), and sometimes are guilty of not seeing the reality that there's a human attached to the résumé, and in doing so, create karma, instead, by not showing up and acting appropriately. Yowch, hiring manager, think of your future! Shall I share what I see?
