In this episode I recap, from a bird’s eye view, the past episodes. I have my mind on season two, taking a short break to gather my thoughts on how best to share this next season of my life. 

Let the glories,... roll I'm emerging from the fog of infatuation! It reminds me of a song by Marjijohn Wilkins, paticularily the line ...."You knew it had been such a long time, since I'd seen the color of sunshine..."

We so often think that if we can just get away from our current life and location, we’ll find true happiness. Well, guess what? Happiness and change comes from within and when we get to our new destination, and open our suitcase, we find that we brought Me, Myself, and I along!

I wasn’t aware at the time but a tiny ray of light is piercing through the darkness as I listen to God’s Word and feel the impact of my parents love.  

How sly the devil to use my determined nature to my own demise.

Do you have a promise box? The first one was made in the early 1900's in the form of tiny scrolls rolled into a box called "The Golden Grain". It came complete with a pair of tiny tweezers to extract your promise from the bible for the day. My mother still has the promise box shaped like a loaf of bread, with my fingerprints all over it.

"He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings". Psalms 40:2. I may not have seen the fullfillment of that promise he gave me in this episode, but the Lord did exactly that as the years unfolded!

In school, I stood strong in my purpose to tell my peers about what God could do in their lives. My guard was up against any trap the devil could set for me, but at Bibleway I was safe......so I thought! A big obstacle to my walk with my God was sitting next to me at church!  

God knows just how to tenderly handle a young lamb with frolicling emotions. In this episode God is answering the burdened heart and honoring a dedicated life with experiences that will forever impact His child. 

The diary of a young girl, who on her 14th birthday, started a diary as an outlet for all the emotional ups and downs navigating through life as a fervent Christian. Now a woman in her 60’s, she shares weekly episodes, taking the listener on her journey through lonliness, boy crushes, rejection, burdens and laughter. All expressed through the passionate love and dedication she has for her God.
