This Sunday I will begin a new sermon series entitled, “Overcoming” about a man who overcame many adversities. He was a brother sold into slavery by his family. He was a slave who faced trials and temptation around every corner. He was a prisoner innocent of all crime. He was a wise man, full of integrity, who was elevated to a position of great influence among his enemies to save the world. He was a man who overcame many trials, temptations and tribulation, yet always remained faithful to God. His name was Joseph.
