According to Kabbalah, the Shechinah is thirsty.
The Shechinah is the Divine light that is tasked with projecting the created universe into being. That light's journey is complex, having once been part of the Source infinite light and now extending into an unknown space. That light also possesses a consciousness, an awareness we associate with sentient beings.
Hence, the light is thirsty.
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee, we follow the epic journey of the Shechinah, from source to projection to ultimate exile, charting every dramatic turn and twist. In doing so we discover why the universe is so volatile by nature, and why ultimately, it is by the smallest of margins that we are conscious of our Source.
