Lisa Purtue is a substance abuse counselor licensed in the State of Wisconsin who has worked for two and a half years in residential rehabilitation and at a healthcare facility. She chats with us about overcoming obstacles and finding a positive mindset.

Prior to her current experience, she spent 7 years working for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections at two state prisons, with one being maximum security where she oversaw 100 male maximum-security male inmates. Over her lifetime Lisa has earned Associate's Degrees in Graphic Communication, Criminal Justice, and Drug Counseling, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is currently finishing graduate studies as a Licensed Practical Counselor.
