Life has its share of ups and downs. In the Bible, Joseph was as familiar with that as anybody. The story of Joseph is a classic: beloved son sold into slavery by jealous brothers who faces trials and temptation, falsely accused and imprisoned, and yet becomes a person of great power and authority. The challenges he faced seem insurmountable, and where many have

failed to rise above, Joseph succeeded. We don’t always plan for the obstacles we face in our lives, but it doesn’t mean God’s faithfulness won’t give us the opportunity to overcome.
