He grew up in one of the most dangerous cities, lost his brother to cancer, suffered from PTSD from his time serving in Iraq, and despite all this, he stayed committed to his dreams and is today a physician. He wrote a book about his journey into medicine, called Overcoming the Odds and it is truly an inspirational book for anyone, whether or not you're considering medicine. Today, Dr. Webb runs a YouTube channel with over 200,000 subscribers and is an inspiration for premeds around the world.
