Romans 15:13

13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the
Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 states, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” This verse beautifully
encapsulates the essence of our faith—hope, joy, and peace, all intertwined through trust in God.
In this passage, the Apostle Paul addresses the Roman church, encouraging unity and mutual support among
believers. He emphasizes the source of our hope: God Himself. This hope is not merely wishful thinking; it is a confident expectation rooted in the character of God. As we trust Him, He fills us with joy and peace, which are essential
