Tim Kamin, Ogletree Deakins, goes through the rule changes and discusses how the changes will affect contractors. It is anticipated that the updates will extend protections to 4.2 million workers across the country. The anticipated rule change goes into effect December 1, 2016 and make significant modifications to the salary threshold while keeping the duties test unchanged.
