On this special edition of Overtime, we pay tribute to the legendary and iconic actor/director/producer, Sidney Poitier, who turns 94.

It is not an overestimation to say that his emergence in 1950 as Hollywood's first Black leading man in No Way Out, literally changed the game. The biggest box office star in 1967, he redefined our image on the big screen. He also was the first Black man to direct a $100 million film.
