This episode is and overview of chapter 18. We discuss how the Babylon the Great was destroyed leaving behind enormous societal devastation. Kings, merchants, and ship captains all saw their prospects for becoming wealthy destroyed in the smoke of her burning. There was a call from heaven to Christians saying "come out of her my people."  They were to leave behind their old lives focused on selfishness, materialism, greed, immorality, and ungodliness and to put their focus and their trust in God. 

What do we need to leave behind from our old lives? What have we already left behind that we need to remind ourselves not to look back upon?
