Book of Luke
The Book of Luke was written by Luke, who was a companion of Paul. It is believed that Luke, a Syrian physician from Antioch, was not Jewish. Luke presents Jesus as the "Son of Man" who came to save both Jews and Gentiles. Although Luke was not one of Jesus's 12 chosen disciples, he is presumed to have been one of the 70 disciples appointed later by Jesus. Luke accompanied Paul on his missionary journeys. The Book of Luke was written by Luke in 60-80 CE or later and revised in the second century. It is worth noting that Luke also authored the Book of Acts.
