As crazy as it seems happiness can be overwhelming. When you begin to work on your mental illness and feel genuine happiness again it can get overwhelming. You almost start looking for the sadness again because it is what you are use to. This leading us to believe that we don't deserve it. We feel guilty for even having it because we feel that someone could have it. Do not ever feel bad for feeling happy. Just like anger, sadness, and guilt; you are allowed to feel. You are allowed to feel happy because you have worked for it. You have worked on yourself and that is one of the hardest things to do. Don't be afraid to give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it. Much love
