This week we have Owen Marcus on the podcast! As the Director of Education at EVRYMAN, Owen, along with his co-founder and team, continues to develop effective ways for men to use their emotions and their physiology as tools to create fulfilling relationships and purposeful lives. Owen teaches this new human technology to men for their professional development and to psychotherapists as a new paradigm for working with men.

His group and this new model were the focus of the documentary About Men. His book, Grow Up: A Man’s Guide to Masculine Emotional Intelligence, lays out how to complete the nine stages of emotional maturation that boys and men skip over through no fault of their own.

In this episode, Owen and I dive into all men’s work and how our lives have been transformed through it. Owen explains how he became involved in EVRYMAN and how we can cultivate safety, vulnerability, and authenticity for men. We also dive into the unconscious mind, epigenetic, and healing from ancestral trauma.
