very hard to read!

I had a real hard time getting through this book. I wanted to finish it to see why so many people raved about it. I only liked it from around maybe 85% of the book. By the end of the book you find out why things happen. It's a shame it took that long

LOVED THIS SERIES

LOVED THIS SERIES!!! This series is completed in 2 books and it was refreshing to read 2 books instead of a never ending trilogy...The story line was captivating, sweltering, and the characters are extremely engaging. Also, it did not linger on and on. I enjoyed this authors writing so much I went back to see if I could download more of her books, but these are the only two so far...she has another one coming out (hopefully soon.) The next book is about two characters from this series and I can't wait to click and read. Don't hesitate to purchase this gem, you won't regret it.

So I very rarely will write a review about a book but I just can't help myself with this one. Totally expected to love it going by all the positive reviews. Knew what I was getting into - dark romance/erotica. What I didn't expect was the sex to make up 85% of the book!! I mean.....really???? Now I love a hot sex scene as much as the next person (hence I aimed at romance) but these scenes became very repetitive and reallyyyyy boring. Over half the book is that way. Alpha guy dominates girl and they have sex. Guy's friend takes care of her and lifts her spirits. Alpha guy returns to YOU GUESSED IT have sex with her again. It got so bad I started skipping sections. I can't stress enough how I love my naughty scenes so when I start skipping/skemming something is way wrong. I actually purchased this book many months ago and stopped reading but couldn't remember why. I came across it again recently and thought I'd finish it. Well now I see why I stopped the first time. Never again.

So glad I kept reading!!
