Why should we be willing to embrace and be engaged in His purpose and not seek our own?

Why should we be yielded to whatever that purpose is and requires of us?

We discuss the truths about God as Creator, Owner, and Ruler of this world and our lives and what that means for us as we pursue His purpose for our lives. Will we choose to steward the life and opportunities we are given as God intends or will we waste it on selfish pursuits?
