In our next OYE podcast edisode, we welcome our long-time regular customer and OYE supporter Johannes, aka Wallat Wallat. We're thrilled to have him on board with his good mood bringing mix perfect for kicking off summer. Johannes presents a wonderful, deep, and funky house mix, exclusively on vinyl.

Wallat Wallat is a Berlin based vinyl DJ with a broad musical taste and a passion for classic house and anything with a groove. Growing up in the vibrant hip-hop culture of the 90s in West Germany, that influence still echoes in the sounds he gravitates toward today.

His sets unfold as journeys, blending different styles and eras of house music with occasional turns into boogie, electro or techno territory, all connected through moving bass lines, sharp percussions, catchy vocals and an irresistible groove.

Aside from playing records across town and digging through dusty record bins he curates the event series Slices and Westfalo Disco and hosts the long-running music show Kontrabass at acclaimed online radio station ByteFM.
