God has you completely covered in your garden. There are self-protect modes that we typically slip into when we appear threatened and feel a need to defend ourselves. But they don't protect in the end - they only exhaust us and leave us disappointed. God is our Protector, and the Presence of Jesus in our lives eliminates any and all need for self-protection.
