Dr. Griffin expounds on the purpose of League of Women voters, she says it is to Defend Democracy and Empower voters.  They do this through their department of Advocacy and Litigation. The league is comprised of 850 leagues across the country numbering 70,000 members, and having 33 leagues in Pennsylvania. The league is currently strategizing how to increase voter turnout, and needs your voices to help understand voter apathy, and poor voter turnout and how to increase participation.  Listen to her today.
