On today's episode of Setting The Pace, Alex Golden and Mike Facci discuss the pros and cons to signing James Wiseman to be the teams third string center. Wiseman, has spent the last two years in Detroit, and was drafted by the Warriors 2nd overall back in 2020, the same draft class as Tyrese Haliburton, Aaron Nesmith, Obi Toppin and Jalen Smith, who is now with the Bulls. The guys layout what this new environment might mean for him and what he will have to do to grow as a player.

Then, Bob Kravitz joins the show to discuss Indiana re-signing Siakam and Toppin, giving Wiseman a chance to develop and not making any splashy moves like the rest of the East. He then shares his thoughts on what the Pacers record could be next season and how the other moves that were made impacts Indiana. Lastly. Bob discusses what type of players might make sense to move, with Indiana being just months away from more than likely having to make a consolidation trade to free up playing time and cap room.
