What happens when an entire village makes the decision to turn away from its traditional practices and fully embrace Jesus Christ?

In this episode, I am joined by Bri Olewale from Hula (Vulaa), Papua New Guinea, to explore the remarkable story of his village and its transformation following the arrival of Christian missionaries in 1909.

We discuss how the people of Hula reportedly renounced traditional practices, burned cultural objects, and embraced a new way of life centred on Christianity.

This conversation raises important questions about Christ over culture: What happens when cultural traditions conflict with biblical teachings? Should every cultural practice be preserved, or should everything be examined in the light of God's Word?

We also discuss the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven versus the culture of Satan, helping listeners recognise the difference between what comes from God and what does not.

This episode is a call to examine our traditions, let go of what is wicked and ungodly, and ultimately choose CHRIST OVER CULTURE. ✝️
