Fifteen years ago this month a category five tropical cyclone hit the island of Niue, which caused the worst damage locals had seen in living memory. Cyclone Heta took the lives of two people on Niue in January 2004, a mother and son in the capital of Alofi. Inangaro Vakaafi recalls what happened and her experience.
