The U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self Defense Force, and the Royal Australian Air Force are working together as part of Exercise Cope North 2018 and C-130J Super Hercules from the 36th Airlift Squadron from Yokota, Japan, are airborne delivering goods and personnel. In Thailand Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 shifts focus to its humanitarian aid and disaster relief pillar. The U.S. Coast Guard based in Valdez, Alaska simulated a search of a yacht suspected of picking up radiological materials as a part of the state wide exercise, Arctic Eagle 2018.
