Packers face tough test against St. Louis Rams

Listen Later

St. Louis may be overlooked by many fans and analysts at 2-2. Both of their wins are against potential playoff teams. The defeated the Seattle Seahawks in week one and then beat the Arizona Cardinals last week. The reason for their success is keeping opponents out of the red zone. They ranks fourth in NFL Team Opponent Red Zone Touchdonw Scoring Percentage only allowing opponents to score a touchdown 38% of the time. Green Bay scores a touchdown in the red zone 64% of the time. This will be the key matchup Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers has not thrown an interception this season, and looks to continue his record of pass attempts without an interception at home. Including playoffs, he has thrown 580 passes in 19 games without being intercepted. The high powered offense has had to make some some adjustments with the injury to Jordy Nelson, and an in season ankle injury to DeVante Adams. Ty Montgomery has been more involved in the game plan, each game.
A big suprise this year could be the Packers run defense. Although ranked 21st overall against the run, this team has contained three good running backs.  They are also getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks with 17 sacks in four games. Listen in and call the show with your prediction.
