Gypsie Raleigh is the author of the sensational new novel, "Soolie Beetch and the Dying Light."

She spent her childhood growing up off-grid in the Mount Hood wilderness area of Oregon. She began writing at a young age, because when life gives you books and endless expanses of solitary time, you make your own friends. She now lives in Portland OR with her long-suffering husband and their zero cats. When not writing, she can be found playing music under the name Gypsie Redd, or performing with CSZ Portland and Thinking People’s Theater.
