Hello folks, in this episode we are introduced to the beginning of the 2nd book which is joined to the previous book where we explored the parallel between the Old Testament priesthood and New Testament ministers. This book forms the 2nd part on the subject of New Testament ministry and this chapter opens with how God chooses His servants of today without respect to their race or background as opposed to the tribe of Levi of old. Then we further get into how the New Testament minister, the Christian servant must be anointed with the power of the Holy Spirt just as Christ and the apostles were in order to serve. And that the calling to service comes from God, not self-willed, or based on talents, degrees, or reputation. So friends, can we confidently assert that our formal ministers or ourselves have been called to service by God?
