Hello folks! In this episode, we will continue with the theme of consumption, both ideal and prohibited for the servants of God. We will see how the new testament servant borrows from the old priesthood not to consume flesh which dies of itself (backsliders) or is torn by the beast (the devil) but rather yield to eat the meat (or food) which is the acceptable, good and perfect service in line with the will of God. Therefore, the servant of God, the Christian must be careful as to what he/she takes in (consumes). If we were to look in proportion the time we spend in God's word, or with God's people to the time we spend listening to news various entertainment, and other forms of stimulation, is our daily consumption of Him balanced on the acceptable, good or perfect side in God's eyes?
