This is a Houdini SOP node that lets you paint seamlessly on an image in the viewport.

Paint directly with the mouse or use geometry to define the strokes.

Create layers of different types:

  • Shape
  • Fill
  • Noise
  • Image

    • Create shapes:

    • Free-form: paint directly in the viewport, use input geometry points, a string/list of points or scattered points
    • Lines
    • Rectangles
    • Polygons
    • Ellipses
    • Text: plain or markdown/HTML formatted text

      • Create brushes:

      • Solid
      • Gradient
      • Noise
      • Image

        • Stroke shape outlines/between points using a pen or brush, or just paint on each point position.

        Use single brushes or multi-brushes.
        Fill shapes using solid colors, patterns or textures.
        Translate, rotate and scale shapes and layers.
        Jitter/randomize stroke brush translation, size, rotation, scale, hue, saturation, brightness and alpha/transparency.
        Set the stroke range and offset for brush strokes.
