Trish Ayers is the founder and director of Kentucky Women Playwrights Seminar. She has had readings/productions throughout the United States and Japan. “Painting the Egress” is included in Scenes from the Common Wealth: Short Plays and Monologues by Kentucky Women. She hosts In the Crib a monthly radio show on OnAir Players and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and 365 Women a Year.

Description:
Mama is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and lives in an alternative universe. Her daughter Sissy is the sole caregiver when her sister Janet a newly disabled war veteran returns to challenge her sister's decisions.
