In this episode Pakistan economic situation is discussed in the year 2022 till 2023. Pakistan had a turbulent year. The economic situation has gone from bad to worse. The foreign exchange reserves fell to a historic low, imports saw an unprecedented curtailment, foreign remittances and exports fell. Floods, Russian Ukrainian conflict, global commodity prices and political uncertainty, all contributed to Pakistan’s economic devastation. While there are certain positive indicators, Pakistan still has to work exceptionally hard to restore confidence in its economy.
