Palm Sunday

The Climax of Christ’s earthly ministry is right around the corner. The opposition of the Pharisees is not stopping the crowds that are thronging Jesus and as he comes into Jerusalem for the Passover. The people waving Palm Branches and crying out “Hosanna!! Blessed is the King of Israel!”

And now foreigners are coming and asking for an audience with Jesus. The Greeks are here to find what Christ and his Kingdom are all about. The great moment of Christ’s triumph has arrived.

But why has this moment brought Christ such sorrow and anxiety?
