Palm Sunday is the oft-overlooked appetizer that leads us to Easter. We know how the story ends, so we rush through it as if it's a preamble. Once we look deeper a the events that surround Jesus's entry into Jerusalem before his death, it starts to make the entire narrative take a different shape. These events are way more political and way less spiritual than it seems. So, I think it's far time we rethink Palm Sunday.
