This past Sunday, we gathered for Palm Sunday and looked at the powerful theme of mistaken identity. As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds celebrated Him as the King they expected, but not the Savior they truly needed. We explored how easy it is to place our own expectations on Jesus, shaping Him into who we want rather than receiving Him for who He is. The same tension the crowd experienced then is something we can still wrestle with today. Take a moment to reflect and ask: do I recognize Jesus as Lord, or just as who I want Him to be?
