It’s about the King coming humbly to bring peace — not overthrow Rome with swords, but to conquer our hearts with love.The people cheered because they wanted a conquering king, a hero to restore their glory.
But Jesus came riding on a donkey — symbolizing peace, not war.
They missed it because they were looking for an external victory, not a heart transformation.Do we sometimes do the same?
Expect Jesus to fix everything on the surface — but miss the thing He’s really after: our surrender.True victory starts when we stop cheering for the king we want, and accept the one who comes humbly — bringing peace, not just power.
Are you ready to surrender your expectations and truly follow the peaceful King?Remember, it’s not just about Sunday — it’s about every day we choose Him as Lord.
