On Palm Sunday, we remember a protest march, Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem on a donkey. There’s some debate on whether Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem was a celebration or a protest. Jesus arriving in the Holy City Jerusalem on a humble donkey, rather than a brilliant stallion the way that Caesar did. The donkey symbolized peace. The stallion symbolized war. And the crowds shouted “Hosanna". “Hosanna” literally meaning “Save us!”. From Palm Sunday to the Passion, Pastor Kevin ends his sermon reading the passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Mark. The 14th and 15th chapters.
