This is a powerful episode that starts off reflective but goes deep into the sorrow many of us are feeling on a day like Palm Sunday where we are so used to public celebration with palm leaves waving in the air, children and adults coming together for the arrival Christ in the city before the Passion.

 

With all that is going on in the world, today is a stark contrast to years and decades past, and Father Joe and Father Rix try to reach into the void and offer a palm branch of love and hope despite that we are separate in these moments, but never alone.
