This week we welcome Pam Chertok Caine ’88. We were so happy to see her and spend time with her. We have not seen her since she graduated.
Pam reflects on her time at Cornell with warmth and nostalgia, before sharing a profoundly personal story of love, loss, and resilience.
When faced with unimaginable heartbreak, Pam chose to honor her experience by helping others. Through her work at Griffin Cares Foundation, she and her husband and children have built a community for individuals and families living through the same pain, proving that even in the darkest moments, connection and compassion can help navigate even the most difficult journeys.
This episode is about the strength it takes to keep moving forward, the courage to speak openly about grief, and the legacy created when one person’s story becomes a source of hope for many.
We could not be prouder to know her.
