The second hour continues the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the martyrdom of Malcolm X, El Hajj Malik Shabazz, highlighting a 1961 debate between Malcolm, James Baldwin and LaVerne McCumming on the non-violent anti-segregation movement of the period. Also we listen to a rare interview with Cuban-Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara during his visit to the United Nations in Dec. 1964. The final hour focuses on the Haitian Revolution through an interview with an historian of the evolution of this monumental period in the struggle against slavery and colonialism in the Caribbean.
