An Art Educator and Football Coach, Mr. Stouffer embodies the tenets of being a "Renaissance Man." As he teaches creativity and communication, he encourages flexibility in his students and colleagues.

Coach Stouffer is the current Carteret County Public Schools Teacher of the Year. In his 26th year of teaching, he has been named Teacher of the Year in three schools and District Teacher of the Year twice. He is the former North Carolina Art Education Secondary Art Educator of the Year. Coach Stouffer believes in the importance of the Arts in a well-rounded education.
