Papa Don't Preach

Listen Later

With Father’s Day in the rear view mirror, we can reflect upon the dads in our lives. This week we share stories of fatherly relationships that may make you appreciate your own however dysfunctional it may be.  Dana tells us about Gary Plauch. Some of you are old enough to remember what he did right in front of the news. Nydia tells us about Pedro Rodrigues Filho, the real life Dexter. Cindy tells us about the history of Father’s Day.
For dinner this week, Cindy served us a great Father’s Day meal of grilled steak, baked potato, and corn on the cob. For dessert, she made Drunk in the Kitchen Brownies. The meal was paired with Beringer Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon.  This wine packed a punch.
