In Luke 13:6-9, there’s a different parable about a barren fig tree. A man has a fig tree in his vineyard that hasn’t borne fruit for three years. The vineyard keeper asks for one more year to dig around it and fertilize it, giving it another chance to bear fruit before deciding to cut it down. This story highlights God’s patience and grace, giving people time to repent and turn back to Him.
