The Parable of the Gold Coins is found in Luke 19:11-27. In this story, a nobleman goes to a distant country to be crowned king and gives ten of his servants a gold coin each, instructing them to put it to work until he returns. The parable teaches about using the resources and opportunities God gives us wisely. It emphasizes faithfulness, diligence, and accountability in the work we do for God’s kingdom, and that those who are faithful with little will be entrusted with more.
